EMERGENCY PROCEDURES

Practice the situations pilots rarely get to rehearse.

Use realistic scenarios to improve recognition, priorities, aircraft control, checklist discipline, and decision making when something goes wrong.

Build a response you can trust under pressure.

Emergency procedures are often discussed far more than they are practiced. This session uses scenario-based training to strengthen the sequence of recognizing the problem, maintaining aircraft control, choosing the right priorities, using checklists effectively, and making timely decisions.

The emphasis is not memorizing a single script. It is learning how to manage changing circumstances while protecting the most important resource first: control of the airplane.

You’ll work on

  • Engine-failure scenarios
  • Forced-landing decisions
  • System malfunctions
  • Electrical and instrument failures
  • Partial-panel or degraded-instrument operations
  • Checklist and memory-item discipline
  • Workload and task prioritization
  • Diversion and risk-management decisions

Who it’s for

Pilots who have not practiced emergency procedures recently, pilots transitioning to unfamiliar aircraft or systems, and anyone who wants more confidence making decisions when the flight stops going according to plan.

How the session works

We begin with aircraft-specific emergency priorities and risk management, then introduce realistic scenarios in flight. The instructor controls when and how each scenario is introduced so the training remains safe while requiring the pilot to recognize, prioritize, decide, and act.

Practice before the real emergency.

We can tailor the scenarios to your aircraft, experience, and the kinds of flying you actually do.
